Contemporary design

My contemporary design is about abuse of power by government or authorities, which is a huge problem that human have been dealing with throughout the history even now days in many countries. 

The composition of this work is pretty simple since I was trying to be straightforward with the concept. I also used simple color pallete to deliver the message easily. My work is symbolic and has a clear message. The focal point of this work is the crown which is located in the center of the work. The figures inside the crown have no clear face and that indicates that anybody can a victim of abusive power.

Text and perspective design

For this project I used a quote that I found online. Background of this image is a piece that I did earlier this semester,using water and smoke. I create my text by iPad then i printed and glued it on the board. I used different vantage point to give each word a different perspective and weird feeling of multi dimensional space. I spread the words around the piece and used different line quality to keep the eyes movement all around the work. And for the colors I used complimentary colors ( blue and orange) and some nutural colors. The final work include both fuzzy and sharp elements just as it is the idea behind the quote.
